Appointment Type: Full-Time Regular (FTR)   Location: Oak Ridge, TN, Hybrid, or Remote (U.S. Based Locations)   *Salary Range: $61,027 - $84,906   PURPOSE: This position supports the implementation and execution of educationally-based internship, fellowship, and research experience programs sponsored by federal agencies and other sponsors. The individual will be performing key program management functions with the intent of the overall mission and the core values of the institution, including placing a primary emphasis on the student learner. The position will help manage aspects of team projects (programs), so they are administered on time and within budget. The position functions with little supervision and is able to handle conflict and negotiate effective solutions in a team environment.

APPOINTMENT TYPE: Full-Time Regular   LOCATION: Oak Ridge, TN (Eligible for Partial Telework)   SALARY RANGE: $270,000 - $300,000 Base Pay + Incentive   ELIGIBLE FOR A SIGN-ON BONUS AND RELOCATION   PURPOSE: The Senior Vice President (SVP) of ORAU Government Services (OGS) is responsible for the overall principal business direction of this program and providing effective leadership for its employees. This position develops, implements and is accountable for strategies that enable the sustained growth of OGS through new contracts and grants and that are consistent with the ORAU mission. The SVP is principally responsible for OGS alignment with ORAU’s strategic business objectives by setting the program’s strategic direction, prioritizing tasks, planning current and future operations, and guiding the direction of specific program activities.

Workforce development (WD) programs include research participation appointments, fellowships, scholarships, and internships.

Primarily, responsibilities include subcontract administration for multiple-service subcontracts that directly-support Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) prime and subcontracts that may be Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)-based, Cooperative Agreements, Grants, etc., Subcontract Administrator will be responsible for supporting and understanding the prime to subcontract relationship and works closely with internal customers to support appropriate acquisition planning, requisition preparation and overall procurement status and support.  

APPOINTMENT TYPE: Full-Time Regular (FTR)   LOCATION: Oak Ridge, TN or Remote (US Based Locations)   SALARY RANGE: $79,996 to $111,280   PURPOSE: Performs cradle to grave buying of goods and services that directly support Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) and the Department of Energy (DOE), and the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) prime contract for facility and construction-related purchases.   Primary responsibilities include sourcing, negotiation, documentation award and administration for multiple goods and service awards, specifically facility related construction and maintenance projects. Buyer will serve as the primary liaison and focus on building relationships with the ORAU Office of Safety and Facilities team, as well as with suppliers and general contractors.

Appointment Type: Full-Time Regular A (FTR-A)   Location: Reston, VA   *Salary Range: $93,932.80 - $130,665.60   ELIGIBLE FOR SIGN-ON BONUS   PURPOSE: Provides critical decision and analytic support to the Urgent Solutions Division in the Counter WMD Technologies Department of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA). Conducts assessments, demonstrations, analysis, scientific codes, and other decision making in evaluating systems to counter Weapons of Mass Destruction – biological and chemical threats, and counter threat networks.

Gillem, GA (& OCONUS)   *Salary Range: $79,996.80 - $104,020.80/year   ELIGIBLE FOR SIGN-ON BONUS   PURPOSE: Independently performs routine to complex technical examinations of firearms, ammunition, and ammunition components; conducting microscopic comparisons of questioned bullets and cartridge cases; examining various types of manufacturer, class and individual characteristics of tools and tool marks on a variety of objects; conducting shooting incident reconstruction; providing training for other laboratory examiners and personnel in regard to firearm safety and proper handling techniques; and guidance/expertise to latent print examiners in regard to assisting them with potential locations on firearms where latent prints may be found.

Gillem, GA (and OCONUS)   *Salary Range: $79,996.80 - $104,020.80/year   PURPOSE: To perform independent routine to complex technical examinations of evidence to include DNA analyses. Responsible for conducting specialized analytical procedures, conducting examination of evidence, and providing reports. Responsible for providing direction and guidance to less experienced DNA examiners.

Appointment Type: Full-Time Regular A (FTR-A)   Location: Ft. Gillem, GA (& OCONUS)   *Salary Range: $69,867.20 - $90,833.60/year   PURPOSE: To perform independent routine to moderately complex technical examinations of biological evidence to include DNA analyses. Responsible for conducting specialized analytical procedures, preparation of reports concerning examination of evidence, maintaining operability of laboratory equipment and instruments.

Gillem, GA (& OCONUS)   *Salary Range: $69,867.20 - $90,833.60/year   PURPOSE: To perform independent routine technical examinations of evidence through the processing of materials for latent prints, recovery of latent prints, visualizing/recording of latent prints, and examining and comparing latent prints to known fingerprints (or other latent prints) in a forensic laboratory.

Responsible for providing direction and guidance to less experienced latent examiners.

Assist in reviewing and evaluating incoming evidence submissions to help determine the nature and extent of examination requests and assist in assigning specific scientific disciplines to conduct necessary analyses.
